TheliRath Media Group was established in 2021 as a company focused on building a structured presence across the media and creative industry. It began with its first subsidiary, MinRuu, which operated in wedding, preshoot, model, and event photography.
As the vision evolved, MinRuu was redefined and rebranded as Minmruo, shifting its focus toward corporate and business-oriented multimedia production. With this transition, operations expanded more actively in 2024, positioning the studio to deliver professional visual solutions for brands and organizations.
In the same year, TheliRath Media Group introduced two additional subsidiaries through the production of the original short film “The Cruel Toy”. This project marked the beginning of Wijeratna Salaru, a film production company dedicated to cinematic and creative storytelling, and Rusuhuru, a media channel focused on publishing original visual content, short films, and digital programs across online platforms.
Since then, Minmruo has completed over 50 projects, serving more than 15 clients across various industries. Wijeratna Salaru continues to develop work across short films, documentaries, web series, and music videos, collaborating with both Rusuhuru and external clients. Rusuhuru is actively producing short infotainment series and collaborative content, further expanding its presence as a digital publishing platform.
Together, these entities operate as a unified media group, combining structured production, creative storytelling, and consistent content delivery across multiple areas of the media landscape.
